Solitaire for iPhone is a version of ‘Pyramid Solitaire’ — a popular solitaire game.
You must find pairs of cards that total 13 and remove them.
Jacks are worth 11, Queens are worth 12, and Kings are worth 13.
A King can be removed by itself.
Click on the deck to the upper left to deal a cards to a pile on the right. Click again to deal a second card. You can have two cards available on the right side of the screen at one time.
In the pyramid, you can only select cards that are completely uncovered.
At the start of a game, only the bottom row has uncovered cards.
As you remove cards, more will become uncovered.
You can ignore the scoring, or see how many points you can accumulate. It costs 52 points per deal. You gain 5 points for each card removed.
When the game starts, you will have a 10×10 grid of numbers, and a Goal number to the right. The object of the game is to select numbers that add up to the goal. For instance, to add up to 17, you may click on a 5, 8 and 4. When you reach the goal, a number goal is generated. The game ends when a goal is generated that can not be reached with the numbers left on the grid. Your score is based on how fast you are able to reach the goals, and how many numbers you used to get to the goal — the more numbers the better. When the game is over, you lose 500 points for every number left on the grid.
