Flick Fishing is a fishing game for the iPhone and iPod Touch that takes full advantage of your devices hardware to give you a very realistic experience. You’ll be able to do everything short of baiting your own hook in this virtual fishing experience.
When you load up the game you’ll have several different options to pick from. For the casual play by yourself experience, there’s Go Fishing. If you’d rather compete, you can play the Big Catch or Big Fish modes to compete against other local players, the CPU, or people on the network. Either way, you’ll have six different locations to choose from, making each game significantly different.
 Flick Fishing for iPhone
Depending on your area, you’ll have four out of 9 different bait and tackle options to choose from. After you select that, you’ll be able to start fishing right away. All you need to do is flick your iPhone and your line will go sailing into the water. When you get a bite, start reeling in and pull back on your fishing pole to drag the fish in.
You’ll need to watch out for the fishes strength and the line tension when you’re going against some of the bigger fish. Once you finally catch them, you’ll be able to brag to all of your friends through the Photo Album or turn our phone to landscape mode to see them in your aquarium. Flick Fishing is a lot of fun and is another great addition to the line-up of Freeverse games that we’ve had a chance to enjoy already. Definitely download this game even if you’re not a huge fishing fan.

 Bejeweled
Bejeweled 2 is a simple game where you would match numerous sparkling gems that have different colors. You can switch the gem’s positions vertically or horizontally by one space. The goal is to create a row or column of three gems with the same color so that the row or column will collapse. The game is so simple that even a first time user can easily get the hang of it. Moreover, Bejeweled 2 is addictive at the same time.
There are two gameplay modes for the Bejeweled 2. The first mode is the Class Bejeweled. PopCap created a new gameplay mode called Action where players have to beat the clock so that they can advance to the next level.
If you are bored and you have your iPhone with you, the Bejeweled 2 is a great way to let the time go by. Download the Bejeweled 2 on your iPhone for $10.

Here’s a game that’ll have you salivating even more over what we’re likely to see once the App Store is open for business. Raging Thunder is an award winning racing game arcade style racing game from Polarbit that has just been released on Installer today. Here’s just a little excerpt from Polarbit’s intro to the game:

Raging Thunder allows players control over some of the most extreme muscle cars in the world, on a variety of tracks set in different beautifully realized environments. The crisp graphics, responsive controls and polished details of Raging Thunder are sure to impress both casual gamers and the hard-core alike.
The version of Raging Thunder released today looks like a certain ‘pre-release’ type beta before a final App Store version next month. Although it’s still a bit rough around the edges, it looks great and is a blast to play.
You can choose to race only against the clock, do a quick race, or a championship campaign, select from three cars which each offer a slightly different power vs. handling profile, and pick from eight tracks to run on (with two others shown but locked, presumably for a future paid offering).
I’ve only been able to play this for a short while so far tonight, and I’m still figuring out the controls and stuff, but I can see this one being a real favorite - and expect to see even greater things from it next month.

The iPhone is an excellent target for gaming. The device’s glorious multi touch display is very intuitive for gaming, and the device has a relatively beefy internal specification sheet. Gaming and the iPhone are no strangers, and that is putting it mildly. Until now though, there have been no real 3D games. Kingdom Lores is out now, and it the first of its kind.

The game is being developed by Marco Giorgini by using a custom OpenGL rendering engine. This provides excellent rendering of the graphics, and as seen above, the iPhone does a great job. The game can be played in portrait mode, as seen here. Or in landscape, which will provide a first person view of the game play. The object of the game is to explore territories and slay dragons.
The game is not available in Installer just yet. You can get the game though, and manually load it onto your device. It can be had here. The game seems somewhat complete, and hopefully will be made available very soon.

Fancy a bit of military conquest on the iPhone? Plotting tank attacks and Maneuvering your infantry into perfect positions to route the enemy? Cool. I know I do - and Agile Forces is just the game to satisfy those needs on the iPhone.
It’s a turn-based strategy game that offers multiple levels of war strategy scenarios, plays very well on the iPhone and has some very nice features. Agile Forces is from Agile Mobile - the same folks who just brought out what I think is the best IM client for the iPhone - Agile Messenger - a couple days back.
Here’ some of what I like about Agile Forces:
- Bite-sized and useful tutorials that get you up to speed on using different types of units (from artillery to mechanics and medics), making good use of terrain, and general game strategy
- You get to blow stuff up with tanks and rocket launchers and such
- Simple but good graphics - nothing super flashy or spectacular, but fun and good for the sort of game this is
- Playability is great - as in, everything works well, runs fast, and getting up and running with it is quick
- You’ve got artillery and tanks and you can blow stuff up
- The game strikes a good balance between being easy to play and still being challenging - in terms of difficulty posed by each battle scenario
- And … tanks and blowing stuff up

The current ‘demo’ version of the game offers 5 single player missions. There are plans for more missions (up to 100) and an online (play against others) capabilities coming in (probably paid-for) versions of Agile Forces. That sounds very promising - I’d love to see the online multi player version come along soon.
Agile Mobile has also recently announced that both Agile Messenger and Agile Forces will be coming to the iPhone App Store.
Big splash from Agile Mobile this week - two very nice apps that are well worth trying. Agile Forces is available on Installer now, in the Games section

The Nintendo Emulator for iPhone

What is NES.app?
NES.app emulates the hardware in a Nintendo entertainment system, allowing you to play games on your iPhone. There are many public domain, home-brew games available which have been written for the Nintendo platform, and depending on your country of origin, you may be entitled to play images of commercial games which you rightfully own.
The author does not condone the illegal piracy of copyrighted Nintendo games, and provides no support in obtaining or using pirated images.
NES.app uses an emulator core I call NESCore, which I’ve forked from pNESx and InfoNES and re-engineered as a highly-portable and high-performance Nintendo emulator core.
In order to use NES.app, you will need ROM images of games written for the Nintendo Entertainment System platform. ROM images are files containing the dumped instruction code from a physical cartridge, or compiled code from a public domain / home-brew game. In some cases, and based on your location, you may be legally entitled to posess a ROM image of a game that you presently own. Check your local, state, and federal laws.
